Run the configure script, then compile Eggdrop:

To start Eggdrop for the first time, run:
./eggdrop -m eggdrop.conf
-m is for the first run to create the user file.
Next time, just run without -m:
./eggdrop eggdrop.conf
You can run Eggdrop in the background with
screen or set it up as a systemd service.
screen -S eggdrop ./eggdrop eggdrop.conf
ChatLife IRC servers can be accessed using the following standard connection information:
irc.chatlife.net
Recommended ChatLife IRC hostname
TCP 6667
Standard IRC connection
TCP 6697
TLS / SSL IRC connection
